San Francisco and Chuck

25'th of July - we had a splendid day with Chuck, family and good friends.

Chuck had promised to show us 3 hidden jewels of San Francicso. The first one was The Neptune Society Columbarium, a structure containing niches for inurnment of cremated remains. Unlike traditional burial spaces, The Columbarium's niches showcase pictures and personal memorabilia transforming each niche into a celebration of the life it remembers.

Here is Poul in front of this beatiful building from 1897:

Chucks Aleta and his son, Charles, also joined us this wonderful day, and Chuck and Aleta had asked their good neighbours, the indian Sufi singer Ali and his Japanese folk singer companion, Sasiko, and we got a fantastic opportunity to enjoy their song and playings in these fabulous surroundings.

The next jewel - was Lands End North West-view to Golden Gate Bridge, the place called Point Bonita:

On our way to Lands End, Poul and his american brother, Chuck:

Chuck and Kurt - discussing theological matters...:

Aleta, Chuck & Jonna:

We are going over there, and this is the ultimate latest stop before The Ocean:

The Third jewel of San Francisco was the place, where we got a delicious meal:

A father and his son, Chuck and Charles:

The next day we came nearer to fantastic Golden Gate Bridge:

Chuck, Aleta, Charles, Ali & Sasiko - we are so thankful to You for giving us an unique day in San Francisco - and the 3 really Jewels here!

Sincerely

Poul L.
